Work From ‘Garage Sale’ at Uptown Body and Fender

The show at Uptown Body and Fender last Friday was a big success. Uptown is a swanky auto shop in a big beautiful building. They move out the cars for events and the space is really fantastic. Our hostess was marvelous and the space was packed. The other artists in the show really did a lot of footwork and handed out 4000 beautifully designed cards. I have a few more pictures of Erik and Linda’s work to add. Thanks to everyone who made it out!

Screen Printed Butterfly Kits on Paper

I’ve been busy printing and cutting out butterflies for my large butterfly collages. These kits are the affordable version. Just pin them where you need some color or frame them in a shadowbox frame like a real specimen. The largest butterflies are in a limited edition, and are signed and numbered, and are good for collectors. All the others are in an open edition, and are not signed or numbered, but are less expensive. These prints are available on Love Bomb Press and through Art in a Box and the Compound Gallery.

1200 Butterflies

I added another 600 butterflies since the last post for my installation in the Art in a Box Headquarters at the Compound Gallery in Oakland. The gallery is open Thurs-Sun 12-6pm until December 5th should you like to see this in person.
