We’ve had 5 life drawing group sessions at our art studio in Oakland. The models have all been great, and we are getting used to our new Drawing Room, I’ve posted the resulting life drawings on my life drawing page. The light is angelic during sunset and it comes through one window all orange and bright, and icy blue through the other window. It’s a great contrast and it is helpful to know which light is coming from where when defining the forms of the figure. I think natural light is great to draw in, and really helps give the model a sense of life, which is the point, isn’t it? I also added a handful of earlier life drawings.
